You posted this at Major Wager on June 10, 2001. Will you be fading the best teams after the all star break? How does this work?

Growing up with baseball, I used to always hear this famous saying. " every team wins 60 and loses 60 throughout the season". Well its been now 30 odd years since I've heard this and it has always been accurate or very very close to it up till now.

If thats the case, then wouldn't betting against the Mariners be a great investment. They have only lost 12 games so far, which means that if all goes like the past history of the game, then they have about 48 losses or more left in them and most of those games you will be getting +170, +230, etc...

My question is this. Could betting against Seattle the rest of the way make you money or is their current record irrelevant of the future games.

it's very very rare that a baseball team doesn't win 60 games or loses less than 60 games.. but it can still happen that a team goes 54-108, or 109-53.. yes you can make $$ doing this system, cause teams that are 92-51, their prices will be high like -360 and the public will bet on them and jack up the price.. wait till game time, and most of the time, it will close at -380 or higher and then take other side.

i've made a ton in the past doing this, and i always made money every year. doesnt mean you will make money on it this year, but if you get best price on dog, and make sure you always shop for the best # at all time, and you can clean up.

beleive it or not, i swear, i remember every post i ever made in every forum.. i have a great memory.. i remember which desk and in which room i typed each post and which house.. i typed that post at my ex gf's house in her living room.. i am a sick man onner.. i have no memory in life, but ask me what and where i posted 8 yrs ago and ill tell you every detail.

i typed that post way before jjgold arrived at MW or any forum.. Jj arrived in Jan 2002, and that post was in june of 2001..

that's when you know you didnt make it in life..when you were born to be posting in a freakin gambling forum, instead of being born to be a doctor, or a lawyer, or an engineer, or a professional athlete, or a famous movie star.
