The pace is going to slow down to a crawl in the second half as UNC will play into the shot clock more and more. Plus both teams shouldn't get to the line as much either. UNC was at the line damn near the beginning of the game.

MSU getting some lucky shots to hit which isn't good. Banking in 3's... Damn.

A lot of peeps were drawn in to the MSU mystique. I couldn't believe people were buying into the whole Detroit and the economy crap. UNC has too many scorers and MSU can't match.

Izzo had a horrible game plan as well. Why the hell would he play a fast pace right into UNC's hands?? MSU pushing the tempo is stupid, 1 shot and out every time, zero penetration, bad ball handling turning the ball over, etc. Stupid game plan. They should have slowed the game down to a crawl to at least have a chance.

Disagree. UNC will have the throttle down for at least the first 8-10 minutes and then call off the dogs if they're still ahead by a ton. They don't want to even sniff a chance at letting State back in this game. I gotta hope for a Spartans run for my Ty Lawson prop. He's got 7 points. I need 18. Doesn't look good as he probably will be done after 10 minutes.

Game depends on how Roy plays it. If he wants to make a statement the over hits. If he just wants to win, the under hits. For Izzo, if State comes out and presses the over hits, if they do what they did in the first half the under hits. It takes a lot to play defense for 30 seconds on the clock and that is what the second half will be.

I liked the game plan. yea it failed but, MSU can push the ball well (not today TO the ball like its on fire), but UNC is too big to penetrate! We had to play like we did vs. UCONN. and we scored 35 points (this is what they score)! UNC offense is just better then our Defense and oh yeah UNCs D is great becasue if their size!
