#74I am a big memorabilia Collector. The cards I saw aren't worth anything, grades or not. What's big right now is autographed and authenticated stuff. Go get one of those ARod RCs signed and it could be worth something.Comment -

#77As a card collector, your cards are worthless because of the companies who graded your cards. The only companies people use for grading today are Beckett (BVG) and PSA. All others actually hurt the value of the card when graded. So get the sledgehammer out and carefully break those cards.

#90I collect sports cards and actually do what is called box breaks for other people (people in the hobby would know what I'm talking about). If you need help valuing something in sports cards or memorabilia, first look ebay under recently sold and then message me if you still can't find anything and I'll see if I can help.Comment -

If you're an adult, you shouldn't collect baseball cards.
If you do, and you get excited about them going up in value $50, you might re-asses where your life is.Comment -

#103Originally posted by EVfollowerUnfortunately only worth $10-$50, if graded high (like 8 or higher) then possibly more.WTF.. $50? JK on the 2K, but thought it would be worth more than 50 bucks.. It's mint, never been out of the case. Literally won it playing cards when I was 12-14 years of age (true story). We gambled our cards for money. Can't remember the stakes, but I do recall the reason why I am a Broncos fan. It was that win on cards and I won Elway's rookie. At that point, I watched Elway and been a Broncos' fan for over 20 years now.Originally posted by Ra77erWow 50 bucks that is all?

#105For the guy who said that adults shouldn't collect baseball cards, its become an adult industry honestly. Gone are the days of rookie cards and such, now the days of bat barrels, nameplates, game used memorabilia, autographs and such are the value in the industry.
One of the relievers on the Arizona Diamondbacks, Ziegler collects BIGTIME. I know in the past year hes spent over $25,000 alone buying nice cards.
Heres a story on him and his collection: http://www.beckett.com/news/2013/07/...aseball-cards/
Check his twitter too, he posts amazing cards he buys on there sometimes.Comment
