How does Shields suck against Boston? He had 4 Quality Starts in six starts against them last year including a perfect two for two in ALCS! Beckett has become a six-inning pitcher, and the Rays lit him up in two ALCS starts.

Lt don't you check this stuff yourself before the games?

last year in fenway shields was 0-2 and the sox hit .481 against him as and he had a 21.21 era

last year against the sox total he had a 5.85 Era...but remember Shields is not the same pitcher on the road as he is at home.

2.59 era at home in 08
4.82 on the road in 08 that is HUGE

yeah volstad had a rough spring...... not alot of info to go on with either of these pitchers historically against the opposing starting line up... thinking about the over and small play on the marlins
