#248Lamont danced around the ring the first 7 rds and by v the time he got serious in Rd 8 it was too little too late. He had a super talented Danny garcia in front of him so he danced and lost.Originally posted by jtolerTito should have cut the ring off instead of following him. Used to be a circle, specs changed, they kept the name.
Floyd does the same thing but has never fought a super talented fighter in their prime so he hasn't gotten exposed. .... yetComment -

#251I'd love to see Manny win, but Floyd will do just enough to get the decision in his adopted home town. I don't see how Manny can fight any different of a fight than Maidana did, and he won't be able to sustain the activity for as long a period as Maidana did in the first fight, and no longer appears to have any power(the fight against Algieri not withstanding) I predict a boring 12 round dance, with Manny never being able to catch Floyd. I really wish this took place about five years ago, and I would have thought differently.Originally posted by homie1975Manny by decision. #255Even in the last Marquez fight when he left himself exposed for the straight righ hand, I think manny has shown great stamina against algieri, bradley both times, marquez, etc. And if word coming out about how hard he is training is true, he'll have his wind the whole fight.Comment -

#257There's also been word out of camp that the calf cramping has caused training problems, and they are applying some special cream that costs $1,500 a jar to combat the problem... Don't discount the 5 inch reach advantage that Floyd has. Its going to be very difficult for Manny to cut off the ring to start with due to Floyd's movement, but throw in this reach advantage, and Floyd will just stay at distance and pop jabs and move and flury... Nothing would make me happier than to see Floyd get knocked cold, but I just can't see it.Originally posted by homie1975Even in the last Marquez fight when he left himself exposed for the straight right hand, I think manny has shown great stamina against algieri, bradley both times, marquez, etc. And if word coming out about how hard he is training is true, he'll have his wind the whole fight.Comment -

#262Toler I'm not hating on Floyd he's a tremendously talented boxer. I think he'll probably win in fact I think it's between 50 and 60 % chance that he wins due to his defensive prowess. However 50-60% doesn't warrant a -200 wager. It warrants a +170 or better wager on manny. I actually got manny at +180 as I knew it would drop. I shouldve pulled the trigger earlier to get better than +180 but I was distracted by other thingsOriginally posted by jtolerIve seen guys like this hate on a fighter alot but still drop 2 or 3 dimes on him, guarantee thats the case.Comment -

#265Bro he's has much better than a 50-60% chance of winning. Manny's style wont be hard for Floyd, Manny's a come forward brawler before he is a boxer. Again what Floyd does naturally is tailor made to beat Pac, the same way Marquez fights him, wait for Pac to lead with the left hand, step back and counter him. What can Marquez do that Floyd cant do better? You will see Floyd doing this, countering Manny with the right hand, Manny has a puncher's chance in this fight, which makes it not a 50/50 fight especially against someone who is hard to hit as Floyd is. What slows down a heavy workrate is distance, simple as that. When Pac inches forward, Floyd will inch and slide back a little keeping distance, Manny will lunge with shots and get countered. Floyd will change up in some rounds and come forward himself just for a different look at times, wont last the entire round but just to mix things up. Floyd has 90% chance of winning barring he gets KO'ed.Originally posted by homie1975Toler I'm not hating on Floyd he's a tremendously talented boxer. #266Toler. The books don't give away money. Floyd has a great chin and manny hasn't koed a guy in yrs so remove a KO from the equation. There's a better chance of a DQ or accidental headbutt opening a huge cut and stopping the fight than a KO happening. So now you're left with a decision. 90% chance of floyd winning a decision is a -600 to -650 moneyline. That is fukking absurd man. The line is -200 which means the books have this as a 66.6666 % floyd wins and 33.33333 chance manny does. My 50-60% number on Floyd winning is much closer to the current moneyline than your 90% guess is.
If u truly believe that u should put 10-12 units on this. Basically 10-12% of your entire bankroll. Getting -200 when u believe it's a true -600 to -650 is straight up fukking value bro.
I don't agree with it thoughComment -

#26790% seems perhaps a little reckless, I'll say 80%, but since youre leaving a KO out of the equation, is Manny going to outbox Floyd over 12 rounds? No not happening, so what then are we left with.Originally posted by homie1975Toler. The books don't give away money.
