Golden. You're probably right but negotiations did not first begin until Dec 2009 so the fight shouldve occurred around may 2010. It is basically 5 yrs too late if u go by that. The most hype would've been in 2010 because floyd was 40-0 while manny was coming off the dismantling of both De la Hoya and cotto. He was 50-3 and his stock was at his host ever as was floyd
