Let's say that someone who has sterling credit and no debt get's creit cards from all major companies in a short period of time.In the course of a year you sparingly use the cards and you pay the bills as soon as they get to you.All of a sudden after a year,you max out a cash advance and you buy gold,guns or diamonds with the entire balance.You have 8 different cards and you are planning on doing the same exact thing all within a day.Will red flags come up immediately where the first card's competitors close your account with them fearing you are planning some exit stage left grand run up of any credit you have available?I would think that right now there are 10's of thousands of people that are scheming this plan.People are so pissed off about bank bailouts and industry bailouts that many have had to taken on a Jesse James,John Dillinger or Bonnie and Clyde attitude.Hell,you can rob the banks legally with abusing credit cards.You will ruin your credit forever but you won't get locked up over it.
