Yes, keep the non-pros out. They can't even use the points, and we pros paid good points/$ to be a part of promotions, why do people who paid 0 get to suck points away from those who paid? And it could be good for SBR - likely would encourage more non-pros to go pro when they see this as a benefit rather than something they get either way.

Umm...hello...it's costing them less to run this contest when non-pros are taking away some of those pts from PROS

If their goal is for it to cost them less, then heck, why not just make it only open to non-pros? That's not the point at all. I'm talking about fairness, how those who contribute to SBR via depositing, donating etc. should be the ones eligible for these promotions, not people who have not made a contribution of any kind.

And the fact that people only turn pro based on this contest if they happen to be doing well in it late seems rather absurd, those who are pros all year contribute/donate no matter how well we are doing in the contest, others should not be permitted to selectively contribute/donate only if it suits their interest, i.e. due to them happening to be in contention after Week 11 or whenever it is.

As for the contest itself, I would say 6 picks with no best bet - in terms of doing well, you are always just out of luck if your best bet loses in a given week or you happen to run badly in the best bets while doing well overall. I'd rather all picks be equally weighted, where losing one pick will not damage you extremely severely (as losing your best bet currently does).

It is broken thats why their trying to change it up.

Half the field doesn't even play from the start and half stop 4 weeks in.

Then half way through the contest they release 70% of the field.(the non pros)

By the time its over it looks more like a suicide pool with 250 live players left from a field of 1300.

1) no Non-Pros

2) make all juice -110 standard, penetrate the -115 -105 +105 etc.

3) with the makin all juice same, if someone ties the prick - TB is action pts (not prick wins)

4) give 1 3x bet, 1 2x bet and 3 1x bets each week

5) instead of paying 500th or last, pay the leader after 1/2 way mark the $500

Here are some ideas:

1. Split it into two groups from week one. Pros group win prizes. Non-pros win nothing but bragging rights.
2. Give the option of punching The Prick in the face instead of winning points prizes when you go 5-0.
3. If The Prick complains about being punched in the face give him an ultimatum to make better picks or replace him with someone better looking.
