Very do-able in a hurry up offense, especially if you are just running the ball. So they could have ran three times in a row, and then taken a timeout after third down.

Instead, Seahawks burned about 35 seconds of clock after Lynch took it to the one-yard line.

Even if throwing it on 2nd down was the right call, which i do understand, throwing a slant to Ricardo Lockette over the middle....really? Either throw to the outside or put Wilson on the move on a boot or play action.

Sorry, but still a horrible call however you want to spin it.

I think some had to do with Bellichick not calling a timeout, Pete definitely expected that Patriots will call a timeout and that probably created some time of confusion in play calling. If Bill did call a timeout, im sure it was gonna be a run play.

I agree and if you really want to pass with that many people stacked in the box you run the slant then delay flat off of play action to lynch so that they commit to lynch
