Why do people schedule events around football?

Man theres nothing better than waking up Sunday, the house is quiet you put some coffee on ,the old lady will be asleep another hour or so. You sit in front of your computer u smell the coffee brewing mmm nice ,check out the SBR forum u check the line moves ,weather, mayebe some porn so u get all horny for when the old lady wakes up Then it dawns on you "SHEET I GOTTA GO TO MY NIECES B-DAY!!! DAMN IT) Last Sunday I was in Atlantic City Had to catch a 3:30 pm flight, only watched about 30 minutes of the PM games now today 12PM gotta go up to West Palm Beach for my nieces Party. Events should be done at all cost on Saturdays during football season. Preferably early Saturday. U guys ever put off events or sneak a Tv or radio to watch your wagers. Last year when this happened I kept running out to my truck (sirius radio) to listen to a Cleveland game I had doe on. I lost got pissed whent home. Next sunday F everybody my ass is staying home!!

That said, I don't schedule events around either. I rarely bother watching stuff I bet.

Santo I don't know how u do it. When I got cash on a game I gotta see whats doing, if not it's always in the back of my mind and it drives me fvcking nuts. You are a way cooler cat than I am I wish i could do that. Hell, I even look at my stocks every day too for the same reason. Guess Im too nervous to do what u do, you proably sleep alot better than me.

Between Tennis, European Sports, Australian Sports, and all the American stuff, if I watched everything I'd never sleep. Once you break through the barrier of not watching some stuff, it's quite easy not to watch any.

One of the best things I ever did for my health and mental well-being was to stop watching games I had action on. It was difficult at first, but it's much better for me.

Now if I could only find a way to play poker without watching it, I'd be in great shape.

I also rarely watch games I wager on. Just look for updates on the computer or phone.

I always have my phone with me HAPPY. Im always on that thing getting updates on games.

Now that's good advice, HB! I know you love the old lady and the kid but there's come a time when you must decide what is more important. I think JJ has painted a vivid picture of the fantastic life you're passing up by maintaining all these relationships.

Damn fellas dump the old bag? Nah, as the saying goes "its cheaper to keep her" besides she knows Sept thru Feb she's a football widow. yeah, every now and again Ill take her to Outback and a movie to keep the old snatch crack warm but overall she knows football and gambling season is my time. First of all, do you have a mobile phone? If so, check your provider to see if you have or can get internet service on your phone. You may need to upgrade your phone, if your current one doesnt support it.

Then all you do is go through the menu to the sports part, and choose the best choice for scores. With my sprint pcs service, there is a ESPN option. Plus I can just go surfing the web like a normal computer on my Treo700p.

So just contact your mobile service provider, and see if you can get internet added. I think most services have it included, but not sure if they take off the minutes in their plans. I know mine dont.

JJ actually does make sense in his twisted way...I'd check your state laws regarding divorce, because it is cheaper to keep her in many states...hope that it all works out for you...
