Denver agrees to trade Pro Bowl quarterback Jay Cutler to the Chicago Bears. The Broncos will receive first-round picks in 2009 and '10, a No. 3 pick this year and Kyle Orton, the 'Chicago Sun-Times' reports.

Denver will not be good for another 3 years. Every team that didn't have a experience QB, at least had a reasonable Defense. Denver now has neither, they will be the laughing stock of the NFL years to come. I'm done rooting for this team after 20+ years of loyalty.

The two first rounders are not a biggie because they will be low round picks. Great trade for Bears. I see them winning the SB in the next 5 years with a motivated QB.

Pat Bowlen has lost control. If you were going to trade Cutler you should have found a way to get McDaniels boy Cassell for him. Now McDaniel has no Cassell, no Cutler and Kyle Orton and Chris Simms at QB. That has to make Bronco fans all warm and fuzzy.

The way your feeling, is the same with virtually every diehard Denver fan I know. It's not just with this Cutler trade, but the way they handle the Shanahan situation. Denver had a great foundation on offense that would of made this team an elite offense for the next 5 years. The had a Gunslinging QB, two pro bowl type recievers in Marshall and Royal both, a Dynamic Tightend in Tony Scheffler, and great blindside blocker in Ryan Clady. All of them 25 years old or under. Plug in a running back and tweak the D a little and this team is a serious playoff contender. How hard was it to do that.

Now were stuck with Kyle Orton. How the fuk did this dumb muthaf@@ker screwd this team up, wtf was he thinking. This is just mind bloggling to say the least.

Jay Cutler did the smartest move ever. Im a die hard Broncos fan and the way the Broncos and coach(McDumbaniels) has handled everything is far beyond stupidity. I think the broncos have been following the Raidersantics. I would like to see Orton throw 4500 yards. Mcdaniels didn't want a pro bowl QB now he get Orton. here comes a 2-14 season.

i was ok with firing shanahan, if they'd have brought in a D guy and left the O coaching staff intact. but, this is ****ing ridiculous. kyle orton, **** that. maybe jake p can come out of retirement

For a Lions fan the worst case scenario would have been the Lions trading three draft picks for him...second worse case? Having to play the petulant but talented puke twice a year. At least I don't need to hear about it anymore in the Denver market
