Why do I get the feelinjg he has to lose over 40,000 last night and therefore this is what lead to the announcement. I see this a lot when guys lose everything because of gambling the 1st thing they do is quit posting as they think that will make them happy and solve all their problems.

Immortality, this isn't subtle enough to be an April Fools joke. Everyone knows it is April Fool's Day, and such a blatantly over the top thing like retiring from posting would be WAY to obvious and not clever at all.
