Yeah, VegasDave tore me apart for trying to do it via poll, my hat is officially out of this ring. I totally concur that Fiver should be our SBR Secretary of State and certify any and all poster awards, effective immediately.

I am only one that can certify a poster to win anything, anyone can vote but only I can certify it like I did when Sammy won the second straight poster of the month. All these silly threads are good laughts but not official.

Pico is the official POTM as decided my Mudcat. Rogey has decreed - and there is unanimous agreement to back this up - that fiveteamer will decide the winner on subsequent POTM awards.

For the record, the word you're looking for is capisce, the third person present tense interrogatory from Italian that means "Understand?" To respond in kind, one would use the first person singular present tense of the same verb, capire, and say "Capisco."

Most of you are simply not aware of the history and traditions of the Poster of the Month award. You are trying to reinvent the wheel.

Taco should be able to back me up here. Really anyone whose join date goes back to 2005 should know this. There is no certifier. If there was such a thing, 5teamer would be a wonderful choice - but it is just not part of the process any more than the Vatican double-checks with someone who posts from the crapper when they elect a new pope.

Catholics can present that as a proposal - as can SBR people - maybe they should - but it is only that: a proposal (and the answer is no).

I don't know what the talk about jjgold and Sam is about. They were both eligible. The problem they encountered is the same problem everyone encountered which is that Pico is

Yes exactly. I'm glad someone remembers. And sometimes other people besides BB did it. And sometimes no one would.

But all along it followed a pattern - a pattern that can be called the Poster of the Month rules. If I were to put those rules into writing, it would basically go like this:



The Poster of the Month is decided by any frustrated or otherwise dopey shlub on the forum who feels like it. The recipient can be:

a) a close friend whom the shlub wants to stroke off

b) someone that the shlub feels will aggravate his foes

c) anyone the shlub is feeling kinda okay about at any given moment




There is no certifier. There never has been. If you don't like a chosen Poster of the Month, you can ignore it. Or discuss your reasons for dissent. Or just post one of your own. Or two. Or three. I swear there is nothing to stop you.
