The forum software lets you enter chat info into your profile. You can see the little icons under the avatars for a lot of posters.

A lot of the posters here do not have their chat profile available....I'm not always on the internet so I touch base with people through IMs on my TMobile Sidekick II. I can post on this forum from my phone but it takes forever....
