I'll say this though: if this topic ever comes up in real life, tread lightly. I was at a dinner party with a bunch of couples (back when I was part of a couple *sniff*) and we started shooting the shit about this. My one friend asked who would play him.

Now I am not trying to be mean when I say he is not handsome and not thin. He would acknowledge this. It is a source of many friendly jabs - many of which he initiates.

Anyway I made a sincere attempt to come up with the actor that most resembles him. I said Pruitt Taylor Vince.

It did not make him happy. Who knew he would suddenly turn sensitive? I wish I could go back in time and take it back. I should have just said Colin Farrell or something.

We had a similar discussion after a few cocktails one evening, Mud. This was years ago when he was still alive, and I was very honored when it was unanimous that John Candy would play me. I miss that dude.

We have some new posters now to cast in SBR: The Movie. How about someone to play Ganch? He's a hard one to cast because you usually don't see people make it as an actor if they're as ugly as he is. Steve Buscemi, maybe? Not the best fit, Steve Buscemi is usually affable, whereas Ganch is caustic. I'm open to suggestion.
