I took part in the MLB Moneyline Madness last month. I remembered the final date of the contest was 9/30/2009 when I joined the contest. It was amended to 4/30/2009 now. Does it mean that if I take part in May contest, a contest credit will be deducted from my account again? i.e. instead of a contest credit for the whole 6 month period, you need 6 contest credits for the 6 different months?

        Hi Augustus,

One credit is good for one month. Each contest is it's own month, so yes you'd have to redo the sign-up process and fund an additional new sportsbook account.

Hi Lou,I instant messaged you earlier.

Hi Lou,I had one credit left for the April contest and came in 3rd?Since Las Palmas is off your list, you said to open a new account and I did at Carib.I didn't deposit any money there, was I supposed to for the contest?

I didn't know that the contest was just for April so today I played the first day of May on the new contest. Can you straighten that one out for me?I won't play from here on out.

When do the winnings go into the accounts? Thanks!

You already had one remaining credit, so you are fine to receive April's prize.

To be prize eligible again in May you would need to deposit $25 into the new account.

Some sportsbooks will have credit requests completed in under 24 hours, others may take a little longer since we're headed into the weekend, but by early next week all credits should be completed.

Your kidding right, your going to take a credit for each month? The 4 month nba season was 1 credit and 2.5k a month?

First off was there a list of the prize awarded to the April winners?

Second being that i deposited more then 25 bucks a month at DSI why havent i gotten more credits each month?

it shows i have zero credits remaining?

Let me get this straight - Not only has the prize pool gone from 5k a few months ago with the NBA contest to 1k with the current MLB contest, but now one credit is only good for a month, as opposed to lasting all season like they have in the past? Don't mean to sound ungrateful, but it's not worth the time to enter picks when first place gets you about 50 bucks. Thanks but no thanks.

It is probably a bit early to think about, but who isn't always thinking NFL? Anyway, do you suppose Beat the Prick is going to go with a one credit per month system like baseball? Just curious. Love the contests, keep'em coming..thanx

All I know for certain is BTP will have a big ole' prize-pool like it does every year. MLB is the slow part of the year for everyone, this Moneyline Madness is more about capping competition and bragging rights, even if it is for gas money..

EXACTLY, then why change it to 1 credit per month?

The payout for BTP is 50 times the amount and 1/5th the number of credits (Basketball is similar).

1 credit per month x 90 dollars to the winner doesn't add up relative to the other contests.

BTP is SBR's signature contest, it is the biggest and baddest so by comparison of course other contests are going to have less prizing.

With respect to MLB Moneyline I feel the capping competition and fun is still there for the forum guys that want to take part in the monthly event and win some money in the process.

Yea I get it, I think all the contests are great, and I could care less about the money. I just think to ask for so many credits is kinda silly. Its difficult to fund most of these books for the average person from the US.

if its more for just fun, then why make it 5-6 credits to play the entire season?
