Basically it's like a combination of a bunch of sauna rooms and an hourly hotel. When you enter the door charge is $12 and you have to present photo ID, so you know that everybody inside is legal to screw. There's four saunas, a locker room, cafe, and then over a dozen hourly rooms upstairs. The rooms are sparse, just a half bath, full bed, bedsheet and towel.

Basically you go there to either pick up a guy for sex or get picked up. Any sort of sex act is permissible in the saunas and naturally the hourly rooms, and you'll even see lots of rubbing and making out in the locker room and cafe. Basically that's it, that's the prototypical gay bathhouse, which we just call "the bath." Interested, JJ?

Typically everything is done by glances. If somebody is interested in you, they'll look at you until eye contact is made. At that point it's up to you to either nod yes or shake your head for no. In the cafe it's much more social, people will chat you up, offer to buy you a coffee and the like. Again, if you're not interested you just say so, or typically I'll say I'm waiting for someone, and they move on.

There's no pressure whatsoever, and no one will ever just take your towel off. Half of the time I go there I don't even see anyone I want, it's just exciting to go take a sauna and watch other guys get it on. Very powerful imagery to add to the "spank bank" for when you get back home.

"Screwing" requires one of the participants to possess a vagina, I believe gay bath houses forbid the presence of cunts in their establishment, "Sodomy" is the correct term for what gay men do to each other, there is a big difference.

Actually Blow Buddies does have a lesbian afternoon, although it's certainly not as well patronized.

I beg to differ, according to the American Heritage Decitionary, screwing is synonymous with and vernacular for copulating, which means sexual intercourse of any variety. It's derived from the Latin copulare, which simply means to join. It's just as appropriate to use it amongst two men as it is to use it with other combinations of humans including a female.

It would be accurate to say that all sodomy is screwing, and yet not all screwing is sodomy.
