Barkley tends to favor teams that don't rely heavily on jump shots. The Hawks are a jump shooting team but they run good action.

It's hard to outscheme teams in the playoffs however. I don't see Atlanta making it out of the East.

Really going out on a limb picking one team and saying they won't make the finals. Making the Finals is HARD. Especially in the West, it's a Bataan death march.

I will be shocked if the hawks don't win the east this year. They are currently leading the eastern playoff race by 7.5 games. That means unless some miracle happens, they are going to be the No 1 seed when playoffs start. And that means for hawks to not win the eastern conference, some team has to beat the most consistent team in the league in a 7 game series WITHOUT home court advantage. I just don't see that happening, the cavs might have the biggest chance of doing that among other eastern contenders, but still not big enough.
