I like Braun and Hamilton at those prices. No way on Sizemore and Fat Elvis (Berkman) won't hit more than 32 this year, got to think 44+ wins it. Howard could repeat, but I like the numbers for Hamilton and Braun.

one of these years hanley ramirez is gonna really grow into his body, hit his prime and hit 55... don't think it is this year though...

Hamilton at +2350 is not bad.

Best on the board is Chris Davis at +6600.

I'd do the Texas trio and fill it out with Nelson Cruz at +25000...

Depends on how you define value.

If this 2009 season were played out 100 times, do you believe Ryan Howard would win the HR title 23+ times?

If your answer is yes, then there IS value here.

I don't think Howard is a value if he would lead the league 50+ times out of 100. Too risky at such low odds.

I wouldn't call that value ever at that low of odds... because what are the odds of him getting hurt and missing 50-100 abs? the equivalent of 12-25 games? +500?

thus far he's been pretty durable... but outside of cal ripken and a handful of others how many everyday playing stars... go without at least one DL stint at some point every 4-5 years?

I'm not saying I would bet it either, the risk is too high for the reward. I'm just saying I don't think +350 is all that unfair of a number.
