What casual fans outside the Tri-State area don’t understand is Cincinnati is not a college football town. UC can’t fill a stadium that seats a little better than 35k, despite the fact high school football in Cincinnati is huge and produces great talent. Trying to get a geographical rival for WVU makes sense, as does wanting to open Ohio recruiting to the B12. Not sure having to take a team with at best minimal fan support is worth what you have to gain if you’re the B12, however.
you are so off base it's not even funny. Yes u.c. would love to be in 12. They sold out paul brown stadium when they played ohio st.,oklahoma and louisville. Fans aren't the problem. It's scheduling tulane, pitt and the rest of our conference. Ask any west va. fan if we had a problem drawing fans to watch them.

Fishhead.....Big fukkin deal, its a down year for SEC East, keyword year, not years

Clemson beat South Carolina for the first time in 6 seasons.....Same deal with GT over Georgia

Louisville over Kentucky means zero as Kentucky is generally an SEC basement team.....and Florida/Florida State goes back and forth in recent history

they give away a lot of free tickets or super discounted tickets when the big big teams come so that they can "sell out"

This thread is hilarious. Some of yall watch too much ESPN. If you've watched the games from all of these big, bad SEC teams, you have to be able to see each and every one of them is beatable. Arkansas took Alabama to the mat: what'd they finish, 6-6? LSU took them to OT, just a few short weeks after losing to Auburn 41-7. They lost to an Ole Miss team with a strong defense and a garbage offense. Does the SEC have great players and coaches? Absolutely, some of the best. But we need to stop acting like they are ready to go take on the Green Bay Packers. It took Auburn 1000 miracles last year to get to the Title game, and they still couldn't put away an FSU team that "played no one." It's hard enough trying to watch some good football with all of these announcers and their SEC drivel, but it's even worse to hear from guys who I would assume are trying to view the games impartially so they can gamble with an edge.

What the Playoff Rankings that came out tonight tell me is that Alabama is in no matter what. The second highest SEC team is Mississippi State at #10. Missouri is #16. So if Alabama loses in SEC Championship Game, committee will only drop them to #4 to make sure SEC is not shut out. Their punishment for losing would be having to face Oregon in the Rose Bowl instead of staying closer to home in the Sugar (If Oregon wins Pac-12). I broke it down here: http://www.sportsbookreview.com/foru...shake-out.html
