He was also a businessman and the co-founder of Tim Hortons, now Canada's largest restaurant chain.

He died in an automobile crash at St. Catharines, Ontario in 1974 at the age of 44.

Matty, try getting out of Quebec once in a while, you'll see there is quite a bit of French throughout Canada, especially in Ontario.

When I'm in Windsor I notice alot of road signs are in French - likely to assist Quebec truckers coming back from the US.

I'm sure Tim Hortons uses the same cups across the country.
