The officer who held the NFL player at gunpoint while his mom died in hospital
Should be fired and sentenced to be the tackling dummy for the Texans for a year.

Pretty much 90% of the western worlds police force has this attitude.
Pigs with badges. I dont care who is "offended".

Pigs strutting around in their military haircuts dont get any respect from me. I laugh in their face when I see them acting like they are above everyone else because some moron gave them a tin badge. I have been pepper sprayed and batoned in my younger days for simply standing in a line protesting, so I know their attitude. Some of the biggest criminals in my city are pigs.

It was his mother-in-law, he missed seeing her but his wife didn't. Of course, she had a gun trained on her and probably was scared half to death
Cops are nuts. I love when they refer to non-cops as "civilians." No, cops, you're civilians too. You have a job, unless you can be ordered to fly around the world and to run at the enemy, you are just a guy with a job.

"I can screw you over," he said at one point in the videotaped incident. When another officer came with word that Moats' mother-in-law was indeed dying, Powell's response was: "All right. I'm almost done."
people blaming the white man again now that obama is in office. if the stupid tool didn't run a red light this all could've been avoided.

If it were an average Joe, nobody would care. The only reason this is getting any airtime is because the guy plays in the NFL.

This sounds like a bad case...this cop will be canned... Overreaction and the press... He did himself in... Major lawsuit and I wonder if Moates even liked his mother in law? Either way its pay day for them...
He could not have saved her...but no excuse for the way the cop acted...

What do you want the cops to do just let everyone go that says they're on the way to visit a dying relative, hell that would be all they'd here all day. The only cop that did somethin wrong was that cop in Memphis who pulled the car over and wouldn't let him go when he was TAKING his dying mother to the hospital, now that dude should have his ass beat, but as usual it was the chief of police saying its difficult to train the police what to do in a judgement call situation

the one and only time i called the poilice was in San Jose because i was taken for a ride by a taxi driver then he took off with my wallet, i called the police and they arrested me for drunk in public after refusing to give me an alcohol test, i had dranken 2 bud lights and then they told my girlfriend they would drop her off to be gang raped, They searched her and put her in a car which is illegal considering they were both some nazi male faggots, thats the kind of crap the self absorbed pricks do, I talked to internal affairs which didnt do much of anything but I would not care if they did not exist, I can defend my own, I have a great New H&K and would love the chance to take out my local precinct given the opportunity... Fukk the police...

Thats why i dont stop for em if i have a decent head start, ill never forget the last time mobbed from the faggets, I was in the z28 and drunk doing 140 on the highway, the guy was sittin on the side of the road with not a chance in hell, i rounded a bend and hit the next exit which of course happened to be a police shooting range that must have gotten he caall because I saw like 4 of them with their lights on mobbing down the hill, thing is their crown victorias dont stand a chance vs. the z and i was ghost on them in like thirty seconds, Thats not including the countless mobs on the street bike where I just laugh when they think my ass is going to stop and donate my bike to them considering I mob w/o a motorcycle license and an unregistered bike or insurance, As soon as u hit a red they are ****ed and you are out, Even in the middle of the city there is no chance, This has happened at least 5+ times and they have not got even close once. **** the police as I earlier have said...all of them, i dont care if they are your friends, family, or even my girlfriends family where some of them are LA cops, hey are all pricks, even talking about how they use practice rounds when they have to shoot people so that way they bleed out instead of the bullet going through them,, ****ing pigs is what they are all of them..

I read daily about police misconduct, I care regardless
Right, f the pigs who break the law or hold themselves above it. Cops are supposed to be held to a higher standard, yet the opposite is true. The "they face danger every day" line is brought out constantly when they mess up......bs

Alot of the posters are replacing mother in law with mother bc obviously it makes the story 100x worse.
Most guys would finish their taxes, read a book, go get a cup of coffee, etc. before heading to the hospital if it was their mother in law

and exactly what would be grounds to sue??? oh let me see, the guy ran a red light (which there were probably plenty of cars around to do damage too) he was arguing and raising his voice to an officer. he had no proof of insurance readily available....okay, so sure, he should sue the cop for doing his job??? sure the cop failed miserably in this moral dilemma but besides having some compassion, he didnt do anything wrong. if the driver would have had his proof of insurance in the glovebox handy, this wouldnt have been an issue.
whats the lesson learned folks? keep proof of insurance somewhere its easy to find.
they will send the cop to some sensitivity training and that will probably be it. he doesnt deserve any other punishment imo.

G, i think the cop was in the wrong, i dont dispute that at all. the guy should have shown some compassion and tried to help. for a guy to say that the cop should be sued... well thats just flat out ignorant.

He was a typical, arrogant, swaggering "respect my authoritay" tin badge wearing pig. Case closed. They are a dime a dozen. Without exception almost every "peace officer" I have ever met or come across has been a dumbass. They are people who were hall monitors in high school or guys with tiny peckers.
