Have been trying to hit 3k$ for 4 weeks now...
I'm 22, started betting in 2012, small stuff, nothing special. Just to help my self to fill my car tank for the week and stuff like that.
My best sport is Tennis, I follow tennis every day so I'm pretty good at it. When I really need money, it doesn't let my down. For other sports, I know enough but I do my homework before betting.

This year I decided to stop betting, It just takes too much time and energy, and when I have a losing week, it just feels bad.
Anyway, needed some money exactly one month ago and put 74$ on my account in the evening, had over 600$ the next morning, all thanks to Tennis. Got 500$ that I needed and left the other 100$.

Left those 100$ because I decided to hit big, 3k$ or 4k$ (yeah, right now 3k$ are big money for me) before retiring from betting.

First week > I use those 100$ and build my budget to 600$ again for the weekend, goal was to hit 1k$ or 1,5k$ for the next week. Never mind, Seahawks first and NY Giants then kills both my parlays and I'm left with $150..

Second week > Use those 150$ and I'm at 1k$ before the weekends thanks to Tennis, never mind again, NY Giants kills my dreams.

Third week > Left with 500$, a few bad bets and I'm at 100$ in the middle of the week, I focus on Tennis again and I'm back to bet big. Nothing, Chelsea decides to kill my dreams by allowing a goal in the last second. Ok. No problem.

Fourth week > Left with 200$, I become red hot and I'm sitting at 1,6$k at Saturday night thanks to Tennis, NBA and Basket Euroleague. Feels good man. 600$ on Tottenham Hotspurs + Pennetta + 49ers and I will have my 3k$. Pennetta wins the first set easy 6-1, Spurs are losing 0-1 to Villa but they score 2 goals in 6 minutes and win in the end.. But Pennetta already lost the 2nd set and was just about to give up and double faults on MP and kills my dreams again. Yeah, I know, the 49ers lost anyway..
Left with 1k$, I try to bounce back and hit Ravens and another NHL bet, NHL is ok, but Ravens decides to kill my dreams again.

Now I'm sitting at 550$ and don't know if I'm gonna make it to my 3'000$ for the end of the week.. Every time I try, I do good and fail in the end. I should have just trusted Brady and the Patriots and made a single big bet on them.. fuk me.

What would you do guys now? I don't have the time anymore.. maybe just 1 more week..

Problem now is the tennis season is pretty much over. Only the ATP World Tour Finals and they are next week anyway..
But I'm not doing this for 2 more weeks..

There are still smaller tournaments for this week so hopefully I can do something again.

its a roller coaster man. When you hit 3K it wont be enough. You will simply set your sights higher and you will become so addicted to winning that you will feel forget how to lose. And at the first sign of failure you will turn the switch to full tilt and you won't stop until your account says $0.

Every gambler knows that to lose is what you are really there for.

I don't care about posting winners. I don't like it. Yeah, I can make you win some money on tennis, but what if I make bad decisions?

If you really don't believe me, I can post the screenshots of all my tennis wins of the past few weeks that helped me.

No man. I'm 100% sure I will not bet like I'm doing right now ever again.
I'm not saying I will stop betting totally, but just stop betting 'professionally' > I mean, when you study every day all the matches, stay in front of the computer to watch live matches just to see which player can win, spends hours doing this every day. When I don't sleep at night because of the time difference and I'm a zombie the next morning.

I will just bet here and there when I see a value bet few times in a year, like in the Wimbledon final, NBA finals, Superbowl etc, stuff like that.

Anyway, Giants fuked me again this night, 0-4 this season with them.. all 4 losses were blow outs.. unbelievable.. maybe I just suck at NFL lol. But I bounced back right away with tennis just a few moments ago.

Sitting at 700$ right now, 2,3k$ to go..

Patience, it takes times. So what you lost that parlay, you are still up. Bet small get your confidence back and take shots again. Keep trying, you will get there soon!

If I wanted to do that I would have opened a thread in the tennis section..

Like I said, only here to share experience and story, not winning bets or losing bets. I don't like when I lose and I make someone else lose money too.

i think this guy should post tennis winners for us.

this guy reminds me of those kids in school who would cover up their scan-tron sheets so i couldnt copy the answers.

I could, but I also lose sometimes, but since this is going to be my last week of betting.. what if I post some bets and they are all losing ones? I won't have the time then to repair my mistakes. And I don't want anyone to lose their money because of me.
You know how it feels when you have a bet and you know you are going to lose because the guy is not even trying?
I don't want to depend on people that sometimes doesn't even try.
I don't want to depend on teams that are just fukking around.
I wanna depend on my self only, because I won't fuk around and I will actually try every single time.

Really, I don't like betting anymore, but it's just a fukkin drug now.. I'm quitting, but I'm quitting in style, wanna hurt the books as much as I can before quitting.
I never, EVER wanna depend on betting for paying my bills and stuff..never again. I wanna work and earn money that I make.

I'm not a guru, you're not missing anything. Just a guy that wants to end this in style.
