Practice is really essential, especially the final practice. They usually have their cars where they want them by final practice. Qualifying has nothing to do with my capping, but I do wish my drivers qualify bad, so I can get a better number.

Yep looks like it. Most teams had race setups in for first practice. Gordon looks good for his average speed versus laps ran as does Johnson. I wouldn't mind a rainout and Gordon starting on pole and Johnson 9th.
