Wayne Root new book Millionaire Republican: Root=Sham, Spam, Liar, and Tout
You have to be a sucker to take Wayne Root seriously with his 100 star game of the years and other nonsense. How does this guy get up in the morning everyday knowing he has to lie and scam people.

But now he has gone overboard with his latest piece of trash known as Millionaire Republican.

The cover of the book has him standing in front of his mansion on a hummer but the book preaches family values.

Anyway...it is almost comical to think that only Republicans can be millionaires and that only Republicans have values and so on. I mean there are quite a few Democrats, Independents, etc...who are very wealthy.

This isn't an attack on Republicans at all only an attack on anyone who would take him seriously. In the book he is taling about the importance of homeschooling...this guy is crazy. Maybe I can drop out of school now and get a homeschooled doctorate.

Anyone else have anything to say about this book?

It's sickening that the press will treat him like he's an honest businessman all the while he's ripping people off. In the local Las Vegas Life magazine they had a cover story about how much people make in Las Vegas in different positions. They included Root as he claimed he made somewhere around $1.5 million last year if I remember correctly. They gave him his own little blurb to talk about himself too where he talks about how watching football is his profession.

The press in this country is so dumb and dont even care what they report. I'm sure at least 1 person will sign up for Root's service after seeing how this mag made him sound like he was legit.

Wayne Root=good business man; strategic as well.

WAR has done a pretty good job advertising himself to his credit. But the guy is flat out filthy and a liar. He is not a sharp, wise guy, professional. What he is really is a tout and that is the most sickening profession on earth. He plays on others desperations.

Worse off all...in his other book The Zen Of Gambling...all he talks about his how religous he is and how he thanks God everyday for what he has.

He should thank God that there are so many suckers out there.

The guy is also 0-4 on his best bet segment...he got so desperate last week that he choose not to give it out b/c he doesn't want the public to pick up on his losing habits.

He made callers call in...translation...callers think he has "inside info." The guy is scum and so is every other tout...you name them they are scum.

Root is a scam, but an incredible business man. He's setting himself up for a run for the US Senate. Probably interested in Senate Minority Leader Reid's seat.

I am really sure the Republican party is going to embrace a tout. Can you imagine where the donations are going to come from for this guys campaign (i.e. SBC Global, BoSpoker, Hooters casino and grill).

The idea of this guy running for Senate is so laughable. He would get his ass kicked in the primaries by a real Republican who actually knows what s/he is talking about. Can you imagine the people he'd appoint on his staff like Ron Meyers and Big Al McMordie and Chet Coppick.

                WAR=big joke

Doesn't suprise me either that Don King is a Republican

                  BB,

WAR doesn't care if they embrace him. If he can spend enough of his money to win the Primary, who's going to stop him? Remember, Pete Coors won the GOP Primary in Colorado in 2004. This guy could fundraise a ton of money. My career is in politics and many of my friends have told me that he does plan to run for Senate some time, as laughable as it is.

                      Senator:

I know he is planning on running. I just find it comical. The guy has a lot of shady ties. You just wonder how social conservatives would view him with his ties to Vegas and his dubious profession as a tout. Yeah he has a name and so did Coors but at the very least Coors was overseeing a business and you saw what happened to Coors. he lost. George Clooniy's dad ran and lost and a number of other well known individuals have ran and suffered similar fates. So its going to take more than a name in my opinion.

I don't think the Republican party wants to float out to many unknowns especially considering the looming problems the GOP may have to face (right or wrong) in the upcoming political season. I just think realistically, Root has too many skeltons in his closet and even though its nevada...being a tout is not going to help in my opinion.

Just imagine what his opponets are going to show...commericials of him playing cards with strippes and giving picks etc...he is a liability in my opinion.

There's nothing the GOP can do if WAR wants to run. I don't think he's got a chance in hell of winning, but I'm sure he thinks he does and that's all he cares about. As a political consultant, I would tell him to stick to ripping off sportsbettors with his crappy picks. I've worked on campaigns for millionaires who think winning public office is easy. They think because they've conquered the business world, the political world will be no problem. Most of them lose and can't believe it.

Your right...if Root wants to run nobody will stop him. He's got the money.

I think the problem is that the GOP could really win that seat. I think Reid being the Minority leader makes caputuring the seat slightly more difficult (i.e. very visible which leads to more votes) and the fact that Reid is by no means a liberal presents more challenges for the GOP...but Nevada is one of those states that goes either way.

I think if Root is true to the GOP and is a Republican, his best bet is not to run so that he can give his party a chane to win.

I mean everyone has a right to run but to win public office is no easy task and once you win it, you better have a plan...just ask Schwarzeneggar.

I used to have an 800 number out of my garage where i tried to sell picks as PREMIER SPORTS. It was the most fun I ever had, didnt make much money, but it was fun trying to get people to pay you to tell them what to do! IDIOTS ALL IDIOTS
