Bingo...it's all gonna come down to how they handle the press....they haven't seen the athleticism of Mizzou 1-5 this season...

I am starting to think that maybe memphis can be a really reallly good team.... I'm still convinced they are no where near last year's team..... and I haven't seen enough to put my money on them.... their body of work doesn't tell us enough to say they are great... the conf usa looked pretty bad vs "good" competition in the NIT and CIT and whatever the other tourney is..

I need mizzu to win this. I also need memphis to win this. But I need mizzou worse.

I heard that mizzou has 2 starters that are very injured. One supposedly has a broken wrist and one a badly sprained ankle. Wrist happened in the last game and the ankle in practice after the last game.

ive watched this missouri team all year and 1 play that sticks out to me is mem-2.5 1st half! miz struggles to make shots early which means they dont get to set there press that often early in most gms. the way mem plays d i expect that 2 continue. miz style tends to were teams down in the long run but not in the 1st 20 generally. miz avg 80 points a gm but 45 of those come in the 2nd half. i know this did not hold true in the marq gm but i believe this to be the exception not the rule. MEM-2.5 1st half gl

JT Tiller's Wrist is injured, they dont think it is broken. He will play. He is in there for his defense more then shooting so its not a huge deal. Demarre Carroll rolled his ankle yesterday, will play, didnt sound too severe.

kid that plays for mizzu who grew up in memphis was running his mouth a little yesterday. said he would prove to coach cal that he could play with anyone on his team. get this, the kid avg 7 minutes a game. aahahahha

I'm scared of UCONN though, only #1 seed so far that has had 2 easy games, most impressive #1 so far....

every other #1 has had a challenge in 1 of the 2 games or both

no doubt they are very weak inside. taggert would rather play outside and dozier cant be 117 lbs. niles will come in and get some fouls but he isnt a basketball player. they hit 3s early and force mizzu to spread and then evans will be unstoppable driving to the hoop. who the fukk ever knows how they are going to shoot though. still, team is clicking as good as one could hope. gl guys. gonna be a long night for me i have a feeling

put down the crack pipe. Memphis looks good because they haven't played anyone in months. The only win they had against anyone is the Gonzaga win other than that lost to Syracuse, lost to Xavier, and lost to the God aweful Hoyas. They only have 3 losses but when you step back and look at their schedule, they only played 4 good teams and they are 1-3 in those games.

In my eyes, they have proved nothing but padding their win totals with a weak ass schedule. I wouldn't be suprised to see Mizzu, who isn't that great either, take them down tonight.

Remember his name, Laurence Bowers. Do some research on his league averages compared to how many minutes he played, it might suprise you.

big deal, the kid scores 3pts and gets 2rbs a game...im not sure i see your point. mizzu had some close games but also had their share of huge blowouts where a lot of guys got minutes.

bowers h.s., st. georges, has been a good team the last few years but they are a small div11 school and cal likes for his kids to play for bigger schools against better comp. hopefully the kid can do well in the future at mizzu. always good to see a memphis kid playing ball.
