the person checking your resume more than likely lied on his. they only check credit reports as they don't want "discover" calling their offfice every other month or so. the only way to get ahead in life is to "lie, cheat, and steal", unless you have good looks and personality.

The purpose in life is to lie, cheat and steal without getting caught. A wise man once told me to take your secrets to the grave because dead men don't talk.

Its probably best to find a resume online and just use it

I guess just put my name and address on it and study it

Lol nice, where do you work? I am surprised that they did not ask you for transcripts or follow up with the internship.

one time, this was like ten or so years ago, i used this resume template in microsoft word or works, one of the two. and i used it to put together my own resume. and i must have i uploaded it to careerbuilder before i saved it, because this mf who interviewed me thought i was the dude in the template! i was 24 at the time and this resume he had in his hand went back to the 70s, before i was born. this resume template has the dude winning like, presidential international sales awards everywhere he went. ivy league education. the works. it was tricked out. so he starts reading off the shit, so enthusiastic to be in my presence. and i was like, 'naw man, that ain't me, i never worked there...no, not there either.' and he was like, i thought you looked a little young. but this dude would have totally just went with it if i had just gone with it.

Last time I faked my resume was back in high school when I was applying for Walmart. Didn't have work experience and so I had to come through with some fake address in Mexico and said it was own by my uncle and made up a bogus address because I knew they wouldn't call.

                                  Got the job

I think if a high end job there must be more checking
also when companies get over 500 applicants for each job they do not have the manpower to check

looking good in the interview is the whole thing if it gets that far

If you are applying for a job along with 500 other people....that must be a pretty shitty job. Apply for jobs that only a few people could ever get, and then write your resume to sound as much like one of those people as possible.
