i think the stakes are a little too high in the nfl to just say 'ok, this season we're going to just blow, bear with us' unless you're the raiders, but fitzpatrick is just a front. dare i say scapegoat. he is awful. he wasn't even the starter for the titans for god's sake. i think there's no question they make the switch to mallett midseason. the quicker they do it the better.
