I grew up in S Central Indiana where Ky and IU were Gods of Hoops. Now, a laughing stock. Evolution I reckon.

indiana did just fine imo for what they have gone through. They played great 1H ball. Same thing with UK. This wasn't even billy's squad. Their were key injuries all year. They got 20 wins playing through one player basically, meeks. Billy has to do better recruiting but next year he will have his own team. But, the biggest dagger for UK this year was turnovers. Unreal. Real question is can the UK fans wait for billy or are they going to axe him. I'm a uk fan and a realist, so i expect another few rough years.

IU made a run the yr after Coach Knight left, but those were his players and not Davis's guys.

The SEC as a whole + UCLA didn't impress the whole season. Had mediocre Tourney compared to last 3 years, even though they had senior leadership and a future NBAer Shipp.
