Well, im a white Italian/Irish guy who runs a decent sized italian pizza restaurant on long island. Between me and the wife we bring home around 2k a week. My monthly bills are around 3k a month so we always have a good amount of cash on hand. I do not own, I rent a 4 br house and we own two cars and have no plastic cards, only debit. Car ins rent and cell phone.

Aside from the obvious benefits that you seem to be so excited about, I prefer to live my life in a private manner. I dont feel like someone should be able to check my *********** transactions or banking history, just the same as I dont think ezpass is something used just to make things easier for us. We are under a constant microscope and I think that people like you are brainwashed into thinking that free shit and flights are more important than your freedom. Cash is going away, and you dont even ask yourself why? I will elaborate more later because this is something I feel strongly about

The information you're concerned with keeping private is available whether you use a cc or not. Unless of course you've never applied for a driver's license, or a business license, bought car insurance, filled out a renter's application, had a checking account, etc. If not then carry on.

i agree with the privacy concerns, but someone knows everywhere you go with your phone anyway, so what's the difference? they know you were at target so does it really matter if they know you spent $120 there? and who is going to care about what you did anyway...

paying with cash is like pissing away 1-2% or so on everything you buy. not a huge deal but probably a waste of a few hundred/year for the average person.

"walking around money" for a gambler is an undefinable number. i could have 1000 in my wallet for weeks and then lose it one on hand of poker.

Besides any establishment that doesn't take a card is probably not worth your time and money anyway.
