    Bodog Poker
in the game settings, there is a box you can check, it says something about seeing your opponents strength of hand after the game. It says scroll over the opponents plaque to reveal their strength.

Does that mean after the cards are folded or hand is done that i can scroll over someones avatar and see what they had as their hole cards.

if that is the case, that doesn't seem fair, you could easily start knowing who are the bluffers.

this must be a new feature they added on the last software update.

i went to a play table just to see what it was like.

it only shows the players best 5 card hand. you can only see the players whose hands went to showdown anyway, not folded hands.

it only shows the results for a split second until the next hand is being dealt. seems to be pretty useless.

If the hand went to showdown and your opponent mucked, check the hand history. It shows his hole cards.

i tried clicking over the opponents avatar as soon as a hand would end or they folded, and a little grey dropdown box would show and thre was an option that said show players cards or something like that with some other options but the one about seeing the players cards was in greyface and not an option i could use.
i don't get what they(bodog)were/are talking about in the game preferences.

In left upper corner of the table window, you can see the number of present hand and last hand.
If you click on last hand number, it will open hand history view, and you'll be able to see mucked cards ( of course if hand played went to showdown)

muck your hand in a showdown?

how exactly do you have a showdown without showing your cards?

After the river whoever was called has to show their hand first. The other players can choose to muck their hand if they lost. But if you go into your hand history you can see what they mucked.

i guess its been a while. i was thinking it was only when someone was all in prior to the river, it was considered a showdown.

                        my bad.

You can see opponents mucked cards on a lot of sites if you use the right software. I think Poker Office has it as a feature, and some of those odds calculators.
