KANSAS CITY- A patient at the University of Kansas Hospital is in isolation and is being tested for the ebola virus.
The hospital’s chief medical officer Dr. Lee Norman said during a press conference on Monday evening, the man worked on a medical boat off the western coast of Africa and arrived in the United States last week.
The patient came to the hospital on Sunday and the tests for ebola will be back on Tuesday afternoon.
