I always thought that was the whole point of the game, to look at the people and try to read them. In person at a table, no sunglasses allowed.

I guess it's a lot easier to get a game going online, but it just seems silly. I wouldn't do it just because I feel it introduces a heavy dose of luck. If I'm risking money, I want it to be on my skill, not on what hand I get dealt. All card games involve luck, but it's easier to overcome if you're not playing it online.

Agreed!! I've won so many pots on a guy looking nervous... and learned the hard way to conceal my own tells. Can't see stuff like that on a computer screen. Today's kids can dance around every time they get a hand!
