    CS-Cedrick...
    Good Evening Ced.

    Two quick questions for you:

    1) Does your employer have any sort of Profit Sharing Plan. I assume you guys do pretty well and this would be a nice benefit.

    2) Do you all watch the games and have big parties after big winning nights?

    Thanks bud

Hey Shortstop How you doing pal?

Before having our current loyalty program we used to have a rebate system based on over all losses throughout the whatever season you put action in, if that's what you're asking about in regards to the Profit Sharing Plan. And, after a winning night and after we all watch the games we do have big parties: we start working another shift Just joking, we don't have them on big action nights but on really important nights such as the Superbowl or when the playoffs are far too interesting just to miss them. I tell you bro, it's a cool place to work at.

No, I meant as employees. For example if your employer profits "x" amount of dollars in a given year, do the employees receive a percentage of that profit in a retirement plan or a bonus, etc.

Ah, gotcha, to us as employees. Well you could say so since here in CR on December we've got what we call "Aguinaldo", that's a bonus given by the employer and it's like the 13th month of the year in payment but without any law deductions so it's a very big chunk out of the employer's pocket. It could even add up one third of your salary. For example say you earn $2000 net a month, that plus the obligatory 9% they take from the salary that becomes $2180, besides that you add up any other taxes the government comes up with you end up with $2500 approx, plus, a percentage your employer pays as taxes it becomes around $2700 and that's all paid by the employer, besides the monthly payment that month of course. That's a good deal for us. Oh, besides that all year round we have a lot of health benefits over here besides the costarican social security which covers 100% of everything, so, it's pretty damn good, quite happy over here

P.S.: Sorry for blabbing too much

No need to apologize, I appreciate your reply. It sounds like they treat their employees well there. That's good.

Diamond sucks they still have my wager graded wrong from tuesday. Had OSC LILLE vs FC TOULOUSE Under 2 in French Cup Soccer and got marked as a push when it should of been a win. I filled out a complaint form but that didn't help because SBR is in cahoots with Diamond/Bookmaker. How else do you think they're an A+ book.

We'll have to look into it a little bit further since some lines have some restrictions and including over time might be one of those, but, before just assuming that I'd rather make sure of it.

You can find Red Stripe here but most costaricans prefer the local brewery's brands: Pilsen, Rock Ice, Imperial, Kaiser (no alcohol beer) and some others coming from other countries such as Corona and Tecate from Mexico, Brahman from Brazil, Toña from Nicaragua and Miller, Coors, Budweiser and in very rare cases Samuel Adams. Oettinger and Carlsberg's are exmaples of European beers that have found it's place in the market but are not that popular either.

How much is a bottle beer at the bars there? Domestic and Import. I'm assuming it's more for a Budweiser than an Imperial?

You can find Imperial for $1.42, foreigner beers can be found for at least $2.67 (those 2 amounts converting 800 colones for Imperial and 1500 colones for a foreigner), those two amounts may vary from place to place, but you can get them way cheaper in supermarkets of course.

In most places we do, yes, you'd have to go to one of those little grocery stores we have on every neighboorhood to have a denial on a buck, even though, it's still a very rare case.
