I swore off betting on the Wild even though you get tempted filling a parlay with an over 5 now and then.Rarely do you see a 5.5 line with them. The books could really go 4.5 with the Wild and some other defensive teams without offensive firepower. It's like watching a soccer game when they play and they should replace 0 on the scoreboard with nill.Lemaire should be fired. What good is playing fundamental defensive hockey when you get beat 2-1 all the time.In any sport including the NHL Lemaire would have been fired long ago.I think he's the longest tenured coach in all of sports? He was their original coach from day 1.Doug Risebrough the GM is intimidated by Lemaire probably because he was his subordinate as a player in Montreal.

On a side note,Minneapolis with the Twins,Wild,Vikings and Wolves have to have the most low profile string of coaches in the history of sports. It's like they commute from Florida to go to practice. They have no presence at all in the state.

They won 3-0 today...so I really don't know what you are trying to prove by this post.

Also, when you play a style like they do....your team is always in the game even if you are playing a team that is much more talented. It might not be exciting for you because you want to see goals but it is great fundamental hockey that can work if you have the right mix of guys.

I haven't followed hockey that closely since we lost the North Stars. The Wild don't sign any good free agents and don't keep their potential stars. Gaborik is gone, think the Wild don't care since they sell out every game so why spend the money? Think the Wild get a wake up call next season with the bad economy as people aren't going to shell out all that money to see a 2-1 game plus they aren't good anyways. Have not been to one Wild game, even though hockey is fun to watch live.
