I’ve made eight withdrawals (all via Neteller) this past week. About half I would have made in the normal course of business anyway, and about half I made because I decided to pull back and be more conservative after reading John’s “Get out of lower rated books NOW!” thread.
Happy to report that despite whatever “run on the bank” books may be dealing with, I encountered no major red flags.
From fastest to slowest:
Bodog
Requested: Wednesday evening.
Money hit my Neteller account: Wednesday evening.
Notes: This was my third Bodog withdrawal in about a ten day stretch. All were processed within ten minutes. Excellent job, Bodog!
5 Dimes
Requested: Monday morning.
Money hit my Neteller account: Monday afternoon.
Notes: Free, same day withdrawal every fifth Monday. Everything went fine and normal.
Bestline
Requested: Friday morning.
Money hit my Neteller account: Friday afternoon.
Notes: There were several openings here for a shaky book to play games and stall my withdrawal. It was my first withdrawal from them; they could have claimed they needed ID or something like that. I was just barely past the 30 day minimum and just barely past the rollover; they could have claimed their calculations were slightly different from mine, that they needed some time to go back over their figures, that they have a different interpretation of the rollover rules, etc. I requested the withdrawal about ten minutes before what the website identifies as the end of their work week; many books would fudge on that and say it was too late and I’d have to wait until Monday. But none of that came up and they processed it the same day.
Sports Interaction
Requested: Wednesday evening.
Money hit my Neteller account: Thursday afternoon.
Notes: Processed at least as fast as usual. No problems at all.
Carib
Requested: Thursday evening.
Money hit my Neteller account: Friday afternoon.
Notes: Presumably would have been even faster, but they waited to process it until I responded to some memo on the website asking me why I was withdrawing and if there was a problem. That’s a little annoying. Just process it, and we can talk about it later if there’s something to talk about. Even an e-mail would have been better; what if I happened not to go to their website after putting in the request? I guess my withdrawal would have been held up indefinitely.
SportingbetUSA
Requested: Wednesday evening.
Money hit my Neteller account: Thursday evening.
Notes: Took about the typical amount of time. No problems.
Superbook
Requested: Wednesday evening.
Money hit my Neteller account: Friday evening.
Notes: Took maybe 24 hours longer than is typical. That’s a little odd, in that this is a Sportingbet book that uses that same EFS processing, and I put the request in the same time as the one for SportingbetUSA, yet this one took a full day longer.
WWTS
Requested: Monday evening.
Money hit my Neteller account: Thursday afternoon.
Notes: Delayed due to their requiring ID from me after never requiring it for previous withdrawals. Even after acknowledging receipt of the ID, it still took another two days to process the withdrawal. Not terrible, but certainly not the speed you’d like to see.
