Hi,
I've been reading these boards for a couple of years. They have been very informative. I never had a need to register and post until now.
I recently signed up with VIP.com . They are an A+ book, so I wanted to give them a try. I'm also with Betcris, which has been really good so far as well.
Anyway, I have been placing some NFL bets with VIP the last few weeks. One day I was bored, so I gave their casino a try. I won 4k on video keno. I was psyched. In the end, after a few more football bets and some more online games, I was down to 2k. I figured I'd cash out.
When I went to cash out, everything seemed fine at first. I used *******, so the money had to go back there (which is fine). Anyway, it is now 72 hours since my request and I have not got paid.
I talked to live chat yesterday and they said my payout is on hold while they review my account. I got nervous. I was wondering what they were reviewing. I didn't do anything wrong.
The live chat person said to call them today on the phone at 9 AM and they would explain.
I called today and spoke with someone from the payout team. She told me they just had to verify the payout with the casino manager, and make sure everything with ******* matched up. She said "bear with us". She made it seem like this was a formality.
My question to all of you is....Is this normal? When a new customer wins a decent amount of money do they have to review your account and make sure everything is ok? Or is this typical procedure for payouts as high as 2k?
I don't know. I'm just wondering, because I am starting to get concerned. I never had any problem with Betcris. Even Sportsbook.com has paid me faster than VIP is (assuming I get paid). Granted, I never had a 2k payout before, but it still just seems weird for an A+ book is all.
I appreciate any feedback. Thanks.
Tony
