Do bigger schools recruit a higher caliber cheerleader?

I don't think these cheerleaders get scholarships for just cheering. Bigger schools have more girls to choose from.

They get scholarships. Kentucky has won something like 12 of the last 13 cheerleading national championships.

Yes schools have different levels of cheerleaders. Its harder to make the team for the schools with higher requirements.

As onner posted above, Kentucky has been a leader in cheerleading. A sister in law of mine was a flyer for the co-ed team at an SEC school. She just graduated last year. Was on TV a good bit for the football games. Yes she is quite a woman. Just got married though.

My sister in law loved it. I loved going to the beach and watching her perform her act in her bathing suit.

I went to one of her competitions too, and OMG I have never in my life seen so many of the finest 18-21 year olds in my life. Hundreds of them in there at the same time in their teams cheerleading outfits.

I swear I couldn't walk around a lot I kept popping wood. There were stairs you walked up and everything was on display.

Some colleges and high schools have the cheerleader competitions where they do get scholarships but most I thought just cheer on the sidelines for football and basketball. Remember seeing some of competitions on ESPN before and the girls are very talented.

My SIL went to a top 3 or 4 cheerleading school in the SEC and was the lead flyer and didn't get a dime for scholarship. I don't think all the teams have competition teams they put together, just the ones that have the talent to do it.

There are hot coeds at every school, and cheerleaders are normally a small sample of what the school REALLY has to offer.

Friend of mine with very mediocre grades got into UCLA largely based on the fact that she was a cheerleading captain at high school.

Not sure how many schools offer full blown scholarships, but I know they definitely will bring a cute girl in based on her cheerleading abilities.

Ok wifey just informed me that sis got $500 per semester for cheerleading. She got $3000 LIFE scholarship for her grades too.

seaborn yes you are right these schools have 30-40 thousand students, half of which are girls. You have to figure that probably 25% of which are knockouts so that is 5 thousand knockouts per big school.

party school = better looking girls
lower academic ranking big name schools also has better looking girls

you'll find more hot girls at florida.

ohio st will probably have more hot girls than michigan.

What percent would you say? At the ages of 18-21 there are many fine girls that will turn out to be dogs at 35.

I guess I consider a knockout a girl that makes me stare. Nice body, nice face. Doesn't have to be a model or anything.

you know now why I was more than happy to go to nationals for high school poms 2x and why I can say I banged 4 of the hottest chicks at my school.
