glance on imdb filmography and check out all the decent flicks he was in
Just hope this does not turn out as one of those erotic asphyxiation deals

Rather judgmental aren't you considering you know nothing of the circumstances or what was happening in his life...

Well, looks like I'll be watching some of his movies on Netflix tonight. Guess I'll start with his first movie, Popeye. Haven't seen that one in awhile.

His best work on screen may have been in that movie Awakenings..
This guy has been battling with inner demons, drug abuse, and alcohol for as long as I can remember.. It's a damn shame he checked himself out rather then working harder to fix his problems and mental depression issues...
His excessive drinking probably didn't help matters... See ya pal.....

obviously 2nd shift jj knows nothing about depression. i mean just imagine how hopeless he felt to do the deed. some people are just too dumb to have empathy...

So you admit that people who commit suicide need help but you dont feel bad for him? You have no idea what kind of issues he may have been dealing with.
Guy was a legend. RIP.

If with religion you mean belief system, your belief system is your religion. Again, it matters not what it is. You believe in it, you are loyal to it, would defend it, and yet have no proof of it, other than that, at one point or another, you chose to believe in it. Self-hypnosis. What if there were a snapping of fingers that broke the hypnosis?

I blame CBS for cancelling his show after one season. Was pretty damn funny and refreshing to me. FU CBS. Was fortunate enough to see him do standup in person a few years ago. Delivered the goods as you'd expect.

One of the greats growing up watching while I was a kid. I believe this is the first major celebrity to pass away... as far as I'm concerned. More to come. Unreal. Just shows we're growing old way too fast.

from what I understand from a number of months back......
He had no money. Even after all that success. I think women and broken marriages were forcing him to take whatever work. That's why he got into that recent stupid series.
Thought he was funny. But always felt the drugs helped him. Pull up the Inside The Actors Studio episode with him. It's pretty good. He's sober and goes into a run of physical unscripted humor. Guy had major talent.
fwiw....much like many posted here....I don't think he ever really got credit for any of his work

Was a boss in Good Will Hunting. I know he battled a cocaine addiction; don't judge someone unless you've walked a mile in their shoes.

Or just flat out ignorance. Some of this shit runs in families. Nothing about being a coward and everything to do with someones mind set.

He actually did and was getting help. Had been battling depression for many years.
