The swing isn't the problem. The problem is chasing bad balls.

This kid is fckn terrible. Go back to the minors and learn how to make contact with the ball. I'd would be surprised if his ops is lower than his avg.

It's hyperbole. But it's a reflection of how little contact he makes and how little he gets on base

Not too surprising. Take a look at how he started at off at every level in the minors. Same thing. He was hitting like .165 on May 16 this season before hitting around .300 after. Time will tell.

Many young prospects are struggling early -- Bogarts, Taveras, Polanc, Bradley. It's a mistake to write guys like this off based on their first look at MLB. Anthony Rizzo had 46K in 128 AB hitting .141 his first look.

It's not uncommon. Very shortsighted to say he's garbage based on his first 86 AB.

He didn't, but you might not recall that Sheffield wasn't all that great his first 4 seasons. Young hitters usually take some time and patience.

It's very short sited not to mention completely stupid to think Baez is going to even sniff the Hall Of Fame

Baez has a fWAR of -0.2 after 125 plate appearances.

                                    He's hitting 175/208/383 with 51ks and 5 walks.

Completely useless. Had a couple good games in Colorado, league adjusted, and now he's hitting worse than most pitchers.
