      Siena's SOS (129) OSU (14)
      0-4 Top 50 9-9 Top 50

Besides Siena being in the tourny last year...there was to much convincing evidence to bet Siena...

But good luck to you...no play for me.

I've got OSU 3 units. I like them an Zona the best today. They both are the more physical teams. Very favorable lines.

              WRONG.

They will not be able to handle the pace Siena plays at, coming out of the slow-ass Big Ten.

People do not realize that Siena is legit and they will prove it tonight.

              Good Luck though,

I don't think you WANT a physical team vs. Siena. I thing Saints run Buckeyes off the floor here.

                    2 different playing styles.

Siena is a run and gun team.
                    Ohio St. is more balanced

If Siena holds to pace which they should, Siena will roll w/ the win.

Well put, except that it is not 100% true that Ohio State is "balanced". I would classify them as a half-court team.

I like Siena, but I think they got screwed having to play the Bucks at Dayton. I'm passing. I would have like hte chances for an upset on a neutral court.

I don't think playing near home will make Ohio State players run faster.

If Siena gets running game going, which I think they will, it won't matter much where they are playing.

Besides, this line is only -3 for a reason. Books know this is a tough matchup stylistically for OSU.

This line didn't move at all which leads me to believe that Ohio St will blow Siena out. You can't compare Big Ten with the Pee Wee League Siena plays.

I have watched probably 90% of the Buckeye games this year (can only think of 2 off the top of my head that I didn't watch) so I'll throw in my breakdown of Ohio State for all interested in betting this game:

First off I'll say that this is a maddening team to watch. They are prone to dumb turnovers, bad shots, and they give away possessions. This is likely a product of being one of what is likely the youngest teams in the major conferences, quick rundown of starters is PG (Jr., 2nd year in program), SG (Soph.), SF (Fr.), PF (Soph.), and C (Soph.). First two guys off the bench are a freshman and a Juco Jr. in his first year in the program. No players who will see the court tonight have NCAA tourney experience.

With all this said there is a lot of talent on this team. 3 players are, IMO, future 1st round NBA draft picks (Mullens, Turner, and Buford). Mullens impact, however, most often fails to match his size and talent. He relies mainly on dunks for points, and his defense leaves a lot to be desired. Dallas Lauderdale, who starts over Mullens, is by far a better shot blocker and rebounder. Turner is a 1st team all B10 guy who has done it all for the Bucks, and Buford is a freshman swingman with a real nice shooting touch and mid range game.

As far as the matchup goes, I think that it favors Ohio State. The Buckeyes play mainly zone and force teams to beat them from the outside, Siena made just 171 three's and shot only 33.5% beyond the arc. Also, Siena tends to go small on the frontline, Mullens could have his way considering his 7-foot height. I think that Siena's primary advantage is experience, returning all 5 starters who beat Vandy last year. As far as athleticism, Siena has a lot, Ohio State has it in a limited supply.

Matchup is in Dayton, about an hour and a half from Ohio State campus, should be a lot of Buckeye faithful there. I like Ohio State to win this one, my main concerns are (a) youth and inexperience and (b) Siena running them out of the gym. Thad Matta's a pretty good coach and I think that he won't let them play at Siena's pace. We'll see and I can't wait.

Final Booked play: Ohio State (-3) MEDIUM

Pavy...can you compare SEC with the Pee Wee League Siena plays.

Last year Siena beat SEC Vandy....last year SEC was a lot better than this year.

This year, they play a Big 10 team. Siena is better than last year and a lot of people put them down b/c they are in the MAAC, watch out for this team

                                    Sammy,

All I see for this year which is what matters is that Siena lost to both Tennessee, Kansas and Okie St which I rate as worse teams than Ohio St. Ohio St beat Wisconsin, Michigan St and lost in the final minutes against Purdue in the Big Ten tournament. They are playing their best basketball of the year whereas Siena was fading down the stretch in the MAAC.

How is Evan Turner to have a big game a dumb statement? Maybe by big I mean even bigger than normal... Who on Siena's team can guard him? Evan Turner is the best player on Ohio State's team and is the best player on the floor... could go for over 20 with 10 or more boards... good luck to you though... don't take everything so personal sam.

Turner will get his numbers, but the key for him, as one of the primary ball handlers for Ohio State, will be how they handle Siena's pressure. Turner averages 3.5 turnovers a game (A LOT), and the takeaway is certainly a Siena specialty. Not to mention the Buckeyes starting PG, P.J. Hill, is a turnover wating to happen and I cringe when he has the ball in his hands.

This is why tempo will be the key to this game, Siena is certainly going to run whenever they have a chance, and there is no better chance to run than off a steal. Gotta think this is a major point of emphasis in the Ohio State game plan. I look for Ohio State's other PG, Jeremie Simmons, who is more comfortable coming off the bench and is a lot more heady with the ball, to take on a lot of the responsibility of handling the press tonight.

                                                As always GL to all.

Line is Ohio State -2.5. You have to take the team from the bigger conference who has played a tougher schedule. Ohio State by 10!

Line is @ 2 now. No appeal in Siena because we know they will not win tourney. Neither will OSU to think about it. Only reason to talk about the game is guessing who will cover the number.

                                                        Good luck
