        If you want to include pitchers Kershaw takes the cake. Wainwright is sick but Kershaw is so young and the obvious choice right now to build a team around.

        Duh.

                                I think war is a good stat to use but obviously if the question is today vs. inthe last three years the set of wars you look at is different. I actually looked it up and in three years mcutchin and surprisingly cano are consistently int the top ten war.
