Would you put your life on the line on the 1 seed of your choice ML for $1,000,000?
You know how much of that stuff you could get with $1 million?

Why would you put your life in the hands of a college team?

Hell Yeah I would in a heartbeat. Especially since a #16 seed has NEVER beaten a #1 seed.
If it seems to good to be true it usually is!!
I have a natural instinct to exploit market ineffieciencies!!

Nah, prolly not...I enjoy living more than gambling...
Gambling is just something I do for fun...I rarely ever risk more than 15 dollars on a game...first off, I don't have the money to back a major loss anyways, and second, it's just a fun lil' hobby...
So no, my life ain't worth putting on other people....

Check the moneylines. Tsoprano said a billion.
I saw UNC at -15000.
That would be $150 billion.
Like I said, some #1 seeds are -15000 or even -20000. If someone were to do this, he would be looking for the safest bet, which typically would involve some outrageous moneylines.
Betting -20000 to win a billion would be risking $200 billion. Simple.

Yes.
I have a high earning potential...but considering a #1 has never lost, and I could pick the match-up, I'd take it. I'm not even sure if I'd care if the team knew....they'd probably play better not knowing.

The last thing in the world I would do is put my life in the hands of college basketball players who probably don't place a really high value on their own lives.

I would imagine that friends and family wouldn't see it in the same light. I highly doubt your mom would say "At least it was a good wager." at your eulogy. It simply amazes me the ends that people would go to get money without earning it. This is a classic example of the lazy, unmotivated mindset of the vast majority of our populace. What ever happened to determination and hard work? Why is everyone always looking for the easy out? Where is people's sense of pride? I flat out don't understand it.

Theres more than one way to live. There are ways to develop pride and satisfaction in life other than hard work and productivity.
