News alert! Player has problem with a book...
The player contacts the book. The book fixes the problem.

Why can't this be the normal response?

In roughly half the complaints I get, the players didn't even contact the book.

Justin, can you blame them? Most books are arrogant pricks.

Amen to that. I have been around for many years and I'm sure I've used many more books than just about everyone. I have had plenty of disputes but still never had to get SBR involved.

Some of these people don't even try. They send one e-mail and if that doesn't cause everything to be solved entirely in their favor within 36 hours - they come straight to the forums and file a formal complaint.

No wonder SBR gets backed up and people report filing complaints and not getting any response for a month. Between people who won't even pick up a phone and people who panic if a payout takes 3 days and nutjobs like shantystar, it's ridiculous.

      Whoooo, that felt good.

            My second biggest pet peeve...

Player: they locked my account, confiscated my winnings, and I don't know why!

(10 emails back and forth between me and player)

Player: Yes, it looks like I had multiple accounts. Yes they refunded my deposit. But it wasn't me, I swear! I saw my dog using an I-phone app, and I think he created another account!

I waste more time with players who commit fraud, and only tell me half the story. I love a good meaty dispute with clever issues of first impression, wrongdoing on the book's part, or bizarre facts that no one knows how to deal... But dang it, I wish players would not try to lie to me or mislead me.

              Justin,

I am starting to see a common trend here.

Precisely why I end up siding with the books on 90% of issues it seems. I would never be able to do what you do, wouldnt be able to stand the bullshit.

Do you realize that if everyone did this Dozer would fire you for not working?
