Nicky, I feel the way you do about hockey...

I've been watching march madness since I was 9. It is one of the best sporting events of the year for me...these first 4 days anything can happen.... I love watching non professional top level athletes playing for love of the game and laying it all out on the court... love rooting for the dogs

A) That's not good,

B) That right there proves how much you care about NCAAB. I feel the same way about it. But that doesn't mean people that love the sport wouldn't love the tourney.

If you put all 32 NFL or 30 NHL teams in a single elimination tourney, or the top 64 NCAAF teams in a single elimination tourney, I wouldn't miss a single game if time prohibited.

Nicky is right in that filling out brackets make this tournament a million times better and make casual fans actually pay attention a little.

i am not saying there are NO americans who will watch this without $$.. there are diehard fans, but for gamblers, if we have no $$ on it, or brackets to follow, then 1% of you will watch this.. we gamblers now got used to having $$ on games and without doing it, we'd feel naked without a bet on it and would not watch it..

boys, don't forget i am from Canada, and college foots and college baskets doesn't get the same response here. when i watched news sports news here yesterday, first 17 min was hockey hilites, then 3 min NBA, then 3 min Curling, then 1 min at the end on march madness..

canadians don't care about this like americans don't care about Nashville vs carolina stanley cup final preview. would you watch this? hell no..

Nicky the ncaa tourney is a kids tourney, of course many people invovled in pools and stuff but so many idiotic college kids watch trhse games because it is the thing to do and get drunk. This is not the NFL, but still is somewhat of a gambling event

I disagree. As a basketball player for my IM teams at school, watching kids make clutch three pointer buzzer beaters or the lead going back and forth in the last two minutes from free throws is an amazement to me.

have watched the tourney since a little tyke, not every game by any means.
but it is the most exciting sporting event.Just look at Memphis, their on the way to being upset by a 15 seed
I dont have any action on the games so far this year. I think I will take a hiatus untill college football starts again.
