ryarboro...Please do let us know what happens...it's always good to hear what experiences guys have with different books...my guess is that you'll have no problem, and that FieldGoal.com is a fairly safe clone book...I'm only guessing here but what probably happened is that the FanBall guy realized he could make more money from his site by directing traffic to his own book than he could by selling advertising space...he would totally deny it of course, but since they don't take any other sportsbook advertising that's what makes sense...and since as you say FanBall has been around forever (at least in internet time) there's good reason to believe that FieldGoal is an honest place...if you read this board and get to know the offshore landscape you'll find better places...but I doubt you did something stupid by doing business with them.

I believe that re-deposits with VIP are only 10% currently...spoke with them earlier today...

Getting back to the Fieldgoal.com topic, I have actually been using these guys for the past three weeks just to try them out. Both weeks I have made a withdrawl of a little over 1000 dollars each. I made my withdrawls on Sunday night and it took until Friday for it to show up in my bank account, however this just may be a "problem" with my bank because they sent out the confirmation e-mail that the funds were sent on Wednesday. The thing I like about these guys is that based on your action, they will comp you money. I got comps of both $25 and $15 respectively. Nothing to write home about but it's more than I ever got from anywhere else that didn't have to do with a initial deposit bonus or reload bonus. I have yet to find out if these comps are just money they put into your account or if they work the same way that bonuses do. I probably would've found out if Michigan hadn't decided to lose at home to Minnesota for the first time in 16 years. Thanks Blue!!!!

Anyways for your serious players, you should probably just stay with your books, but I'm not too serious and I get happy when someone gives me a little perk like those comps. Thanks for your time.

Looks like fieldgoal.com is ok now (sigh of relief)

These guys emailed back twice within an hour of the initial email to them asking questions about the site and in the second email, urged me to contact them at the slightest hint of a problem.

So, I withdrew $200 on Thursday (knowing that it would not be processed until Monday - the site states that transactions after Thursday morning will not be processed until them) and lo and behold $200 was in my account at 12 am this morning.

Now, this was a small amount that I withdrew, but I am impressed thus far. They should get a decent rating, IMO.

They are part of the sportingbet family. So you should be fine. Just remember that CS can be hard to deal with at times.

I found out that Fieldgoal and GoSportsBet.com started at about the same time. I'm thinking about FG but deposited at Gosportsbet based on an offer they sent me. So far so good, also got some good comps over there and they paid out fast. Assuming all things being equal, if FG is the same as gosports then you should be fine based on my experience.

I'll just add that gosportsbet used to be under the Sportingbet umbrella just over a year ago but then suddenly shut up shop. Sportingbet honoured all the balances and then gosportsbet.com turned into a (very poor) gambling portal.

In July this year gosportsbet then reopened using the same World gaming software but (seemingly) independant of Sportingbet, no idea who the backers are. If they close again then I'd be a loss less sure about getting a payout.

Well Guys, If the increased posting by shills is any indication of how the forum is doing, we are certainly on the right track.

Why is it that the banks are always perfect and the sportsbooks are always imperfect? Banks hire incompetent people too....only wiser in hiding their mistakes.

Just wanted to update to say I have been using FG now for three months and things could not be better. The payouts have been fast and withdrawals easy.

Though I wish I started with an A/B sportsbook, I guess it goes to show some of these smaller ones are ok if they are under a bigger umbrella.

                            Fieldgoal.com so far ?

I've been using this book for about a year now and I have never had a problem with them. When they give a bonus, it's a real cash bonus and not a free play (9.com). The payouts have been fast and there are free methods for both depositing and payouts. I am a former nine.com and Sports Interaction (worst customer service ever) client and I feel that FG.com is a more reliable book with better customer service. Then again, who knows what will happen when football season ends ? But, so far so good.
