Been waiting 3 months!!!

Been betting with him for a year or so. I lost $4500 and paid him.......month or so later I won $1700 and he paid........now I've hit him for $2300 and he acts like he's dead. He's a principal at a high school.


Thought about going to the newspaper and ruin his damn name. Hopefully it would get him fired

He will absolutely pay. Be up front with the guy - put him on a payment plan - $500 a week or month or whatever you think he can reasonably afford. Obviously stop betting with the guy but others have said it right - you can let him know you will be making an anonymous tip to the board of education explaining the situation if he doesn't start figuring things out. He screwed up - got in over his head - it happens - so figure out what he can pay - even if its $50 a week or month - at least that will be enough to keep you from going to BoE

It just lets him know you are willing to go the extra mile. That said - the nicer you are to him - the more likely he is going to pay - "you catch more bears with honey" or whatever that saying is. Text him and let him know you are ok doing a payment plan - just want to work something out that makes sense for both of you. My guess (hope for you) is this guy wants to do the right thing.

He's definitely calling my bluff. Not sure why though. He has no leverage and I have no problem going to school board.
