RJ, I wear shades a lot.

Been asked by chicks at the beach and whatnot to remove them during a "get to know ya" conversation. They didn't trust not seeing my eyes. Learned that long ago while still a teen.

At JJ's age, he should know better.

I would be interested to see. I have a feeling that JJ's audience has shrunk. His videos are not what they used to be.

This was a VERY good vid - yes it was subtler than the others, because jj was not working blue here.

I am surprised that so many don't appreciate the subtleties of these vids, and seem to only derive enjoyment when there is a barrage of f-bombs, with content and context seemingly of secondary importance.

Yes the f-bombs are wonderful, I love them as much as everyone else does. But there is far more to these vids than that.

To use an analogy many might appreciate - your favorite heavy metal band - they are great not only because of their ear-splitting volume - they couldn't just play anything extremely loud and be just as great.

I implore all of jj's fans to become acquainted with the more subtle aspects of his vids, and what better opportunity for that than one where he is not working blue, such as this one.

I understand where you are coming from. The White Album was panned when it came out, wasn't it? Maybe not. Shakespeare has some plays that some think are awful, some think are sublime, doesn't he? Disco was seen as insufferable at the time, now it is seen as an era of unique expression.

Well anyway, I will compose an exegesis of this work in time, hopefully to illuminate it to some. But I can't do it right now, March Madness is tomorrow. But I stand by my feeling that this vid and jj's entire Sammy-related period of work will be viewed more and more favorably as time passes.

I find it somewhat creepy that people actually click the play button on one of jj's videos after they've watched one of them. I don't think I've watched one in over a year...
