The loss of Altidore was much greater last game than this one. Our entire gameplan went to shit the moment he went out. Like 23rd minute?? We've had 4 days to come up with something else in order to attack and score. USA is gonna win this 2-1. This game reminds me of the chile v Spain game. Backs against the wall for them? So what. They looked horrible against Germany.

Well one of the criticisms of Jurgen when he was with Germany was that he wasn't a great tactician. Ronaldo really hurts Portugal more than he helps them...because he's more concerned about himself versus the team. I hope you're right that the US has a plan, because this is the type of game where Landon would of come in handy. I will be interested in what he decides to do in whether he goes on the attack or decides to sit back and play a more conservative approach and try and counter Portugal if they make a mistake

They limped into this World Cup....They got three solid guys out two in the back and not having Pepe in the middle of that defense is going to be huge...I'm not convinced Ronaldo is even 80% at this point so USA can get this win no bones about it. Bradley played the worst game of his life and I fully expect a great game from him tonight
