I love Jozy but he misses wide open goals.......no one can duplicate his size or speed but I don't know how he missed the goal in 2010 against Algeria. He literally had no one in front of him and put it 20 yards wide. That said, its a horrible loss considering the guys the US have behind. Donovan would have been nice now.

He's hot and cold actually scoring but he still is really good in other parts of the game....Klinsmann knows how much it hurts

Not sure if US Soccer has arrived...but damn Klinnsman has fallen into the biggest opportunity to become the man around USA soccer for a long time....for the US to put their stamp on the Group of Death first and get a decent seed coming out even before the Germany match is incredibly huge. Just wondering if they choke on the pipe with the youngsters is the big question...and if this is where Landon Donovan comes back to haunt Juergen

This is a really good post. USA soccer has arrived in this country for sure. If they advance out of this group the round of 16 game will be huge here. Give these young players another 4 years to develop.. The hype for next year will be tremendous. But lets just focus on this game first.

He went with the Icelandic kid when Jozy went down and he seemed kind of lost in the moment out there....Ronaldo is going to try and put his stamp on the match with his "stuff" if he can....and I truly believe this is where Clint Dempsey and Michael Bradley need to step to the forefront and show who they are....and drag the youngsters into the future

The loss of Altidore was much greater last game than this one. Our entire gameplan went to shit the moment he went out. Like 23rd minute?? We've had 4 days to come up with something else in order to attack and score. USA is gonna win this 2-1. This game reminds me of the chile v Spain game. Backs against the wall for them? So what.
